Our Story
I'm Gareth, founder of The Private Practice Specialist, where I work full-time supporting healthcare professionals with the management, administration and financial side of their private practices. Alongside this, I created Private Practice Circle to bring together the wider community of people working behind the scenes in private practice.

I've worked across NHS and private healthcare for more than 15 years, and one of the things I've noticed is just how independently many medical secretaries, practice managers and administration professionals work.
My own experience has taught me that nobody knows everything, and sometimes the most useful conversation is simply with somebody who understands the world you're working in.

About Private Practice Circle
Private Practice Circle started with a simple idea: to create a place for the people working behind the scenes in private practice to connect.

Private Practice Circle is still at the beginning, and that's intentional. I don't want to decide today what this community should look like in two or three years' time.I want the people who join it to help shape that.This is our Circle, and I'm looking forward to seeing what we build together.
Some are employed within a practice or clinic. Others are self-employed, perhaps supporting several healthcare professionals at the same time. But whatever the setup, we're often working through similar challenges, using the same systems and asking many of the same questions.
And there is a huge amount of knowledge and experience amongst us.
I wanted to create somewhere we could bring more of that together.
Not another complicated professional organisation. Not somewhere that tells people how they should do their job. And not a community where you have to pay simply to connect with your peers.
Just somewhere you can meet others working in private practice, ask a question, share what you know, learn from other people's experiences and continue developing professionally.
